Moonwalk Tonight

Join us on our Tuesday Night Walk this evening, with views of the Super Moon! Please meet at the Mountainside Drive entrance to Ascutney Trails at 6:20 p.m. We will wind up Mile Long Field and wind down through the forest for the best of both worlds! Then we will head across MLF to Mountain View Loop and gather around a bonfire. Yak Trax or micro-spikes are highly recommended for the walk. FUN FACT: A Super Moon is a full moon that roughly coincides with perigee, the point in the moon's orbit when it is closest to Earth. Check out the total lunar eclipse, aka a "blood moon" on Wednesday, Jan 31! Here in Vermont, we will only get a partial eclipse, but it may be enough to turn the moon red.
